He is currently a graduate student in doctoral program of Department of Information Science, The University of Tokyo. He received the B.S. and the M.S. degrees from The University of Tokyo in 1991 and 1993, respectively. His research interests encompass natural language processing in general, and in particular mechanism and framework of discourse understanding and their implementation on computers.
